I am so proud of the hair, I used this new method I got from one of the extremely amazing realist artists here, phoenirius. If you saw the ref pic, you'd see that the skin doesn't glow quite as much as it should, and her eyes aren't so clear blue like in the photo. But blue, with pencil? haha. Upper right corner is not colored in, which doesn't match with the background I sort of implied in the other parts of the drawing, in shadow. I didn't want to screw up the hair though o.o . The eyelashes are a bit thick too... wasn't patient enough  We've still got a ways to go Help much appreciated ^^ |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. hmm I think if you increased some of the dark parts in the pic it would look better but if you were using pencil it might just be the scan that made them shiny and reflective instead of black-- this piece really stands out after full view
perhaps i will refinish it... when i get this paper done x_x
